Our Team

Greg Garcia

Greg is the founder and a managing member of the firm. He is both a distinguished tax attorney and a Certified Public Accountant, offering clients a well-rounded understanding of taxation and the laws that govern it. With nearly 45 years of experience, Greg welcomes a challenge and relishes the opportunity to serve his clients’ best interests. He approaches each case the way he approaches life: enthusiastically. Above all, he prides himself on establishing long-term relationships with his clients and serving as their trusted advisor. When not serving his clients, Greg enjoys spending time in Florida with his wife Kay and riding his stable of motorcycles as much as possible.

Jim Hasler

Jim has been a licensed CPA for over 30 years. Becoming a partner in 2010, Jim has worked with Greg since January 2003 and has been instrumental in the growth of the firm’s tax, advisory and accounting practices. Like his partner, he began his career in the tax department of a big-eight accounting firm. He served as chief financial officer of an international nonprofit organization for ten years. He has experience with tax return preparation, tax planning, business advisory, small business accounting and operational issues. When not serving clients, Jim enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and riding horses.

Tina Reynolds

Tina joined GarciaHasler in October 2019 as an Accounting Manager. She came to us with over 30 years of experience in both the accounting and payroll tax fields. Tina’s experience has proven valuable when working with clients not only in meeting their accounting needs, but more importantly in helping them understand their financial information. She also assists with the delivery of the firm’s Business Advisory Services. Over the past year, Tina has been instrumental in the growth of the firm’s Accounting Services Practice. Tina’s goal is to provide excellent Customer Service to each individual client while continuing to grow our Accounting Services Practice.

Gina Jennings

Gina Jennings has over 25 years in combined public and private accounting experience, specializing in tax return preparation and financial statement preparation. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1991 with a B.S. in Accounting. She loves working with small businesses to help them expand their Business Knowledge, improve their Tax Efficiency, and put Best Practices in place. She has been a member of a service organization for 25 years, serving in many official capacities within the organization. She is a native North Georgian and lives in Athens with her two cats. She enjoys charity work, crafting and spending time with her family.

Pamela Mitchell

Pamela has been a valued member the Firm since 2004 and currently serves as the Firm’s Administrator. Pamela has gained experience in almost every area of the Firm and is considered one of our most valued team members. Pamela has been instrumental in improving the Firm’s administrative procedures and processes. When not serving our clients and team, Pamela enjoys community theater, karaoke, crocheting and watching movies.

Margaret Smith

Margaret has been with the firm since 2014 and is the resident “Jill of all Trades” and the Firm’s paralegal. Whether you are calling the Firm or walking in the front door, chances are that Margaret will be greeting you. She is a native Athenian who graduated from Clarke Central High School and received her Paralegal Degree from Athens Technical College. Her favorite activities outside of the firm are cooking and hanging out with her rescue pups, Idgie Belle and Mollie B.
